Call records do contain the information on the FIRST site to handle the call, and the LAST site. To be more precise, most sites are divided into SECTORS, each of which serves a different geographical area. The first and last serving site AND sector is recorded on the billing record by the SWITCH. Switches are the central computer that controls the network, essentially. information.
